What is a Midwife?
Simply put, midwife means "with woman." As midwives, we believe that our place is with women, providing information, giving support, and helping women make informed decisions about their individual care.
Our strength lies in our ability to treat women's health, including childbirth, as a normal, natural part of life. We believe in evidence-based care and avoiding interventions when possible
PHILOSOPHY
I believe every woman deserves safe, respectful, evidence-based health care, and that there is a Midwife for every woman.
I encourage women to surround the birth space with safe and empowering people and practices that encourage a healthy natural birth environment and experience.

First & foremost I am a follower of Christ, and it is He who called me to midwifery. I discovered my passion for birth in 1997 when I first experienced labor and delivery in nursing school, the power & raw emotion was utterly intoxicating.
